got the cable entry put together, we'll have to see how well it holds up. I glued the inboard end of the union to the existing housing, and filled the outboard end with epoxy around the cable:




one of the nice things about this setup is that if we want to repair or replace the cable, we just need to make a new epoxy-filled outboard union end. So we can easily upgrade cables later.
